About

Hi! I’m Heather Anne. Welcome to my blog.

What to say here? I wear so many hats these days I hardly know where to start…

I’m an actor living in Toronto. My performance career has its roots in contemporary dance- my first love- but I have found myself falling into acting more often than not over the last few years. When I’m not working as an actor I’m teaching yoga and dance.

I live in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment in the hustle and bustle of downtown TO together with my boyfriend Adam, my ginger puppyΒ Rupert, and our foster bunny Hubble.

I created my blog ‘Some call it red’ a few years ago to serve as my creative diary. It has become the space where I can share my life through poetry, pictures, and words. It’s the place through which I can connect with all of you lovely people.

I often wonder about this mystery that is life. I know nothing and I’m open to everything.

If you feel like knowing more you can find me on instagram or you can email heathrranne (at) gmail.com.

  1. “a space to decorate with the words in my head.” That’s maybe the best definition of a blog ever. ~ Yes. Decorating a space with words, thoughts, images, reflections. In short, bits of soul. I always question why I blog at all, and then I read something like this, and it’s like “Oh yeah…!” Thank you. ~ So glad to be following you now. ~ Bill

  2. Hi Taerhreh
    Greetings from yonder distant realms,
Love your cheerful intro and you are the first dancer I have met on the blogosphere.
I have a dancing son so I will be interested in those references on your blog.
    Peace and guidance

By the way, that picture of that girl you have up there, is it really possible stretch the tendons of the leg so much without actually braking the leg…..anyways, if you donΒ΄t mind IΒ΄ll stick around see if some good writing rubs off on me and IΒ΄ll be dropping by to do what I have coined “my cool stalker moves”
