voices silent under snow

in your eyes I saw
overwhelming potential

Part of me is still
lying on that floor, weeping.
Life gone from your eyes.

a drumbeat pulsing
rushing to climb the jade vine
hands stained with colour
rose
sat on the sideline
she reads the clock in reverse
a rose wilts, then lives
sunbathe
Droplets pelt my skin,
becoming part of me. I
sunbathe in the rain.
chance
your taste on my lips
glory brought to the extreme
find your way through me
stars
stand against the earth
gravity losing its hold
the stars in my hands
