only bother to listen
maybe we could get
to the bottom of
why you lied,

or at least figure
out why I say
“I believe you”
when I don’t.

    One of my favorite poems. I understand it completely.
    If I may, seems like the trust in a relationship has escalated, or bit of a bump.
    Or, could just be a thought of what others are feeling when it comes to a bond, trust, & honesty.

        Well, a lot has happen since my absence from WordPress. I lost 2 important people in my life. Bless their souls.

        I’ve changed jobs myself and found a new one. So that’s good. Keeps the mind distracted.

        And I’m back to posting again with new material and always writing.

        oh! and I’m selling more of my poetry books. So that’s cool.
