Desire announces
its impatience. Broken clock
chimes persistently.

impulse
sigh
his sigh escaping
silence pounding in my ears
madness holds its breath
ghost
this ravenous ghost
lost in obscurity, yet
guides with gentle hand
ruckus
Clouds laugh and fall from
the sky, unmasked intentions.
Ruckus amongst gods.
get over yourself
I understand that your threats are meant to make me feel
small,
but when I watch you making them all I see is
a big baby
throwing a
bigger temper tantrum
and then
sucking his own thumb.
Just cause I won’t let
him
have
his
way.
No matter how large the physical difference,
or however much damage might be done
you’ll always be smaller than me…
How could I ever take such a
desperate sight as you
seriously?
escape
entrancing palm lines
voices silent under snow
relaxed symmetry
just one
in your eyes I saw
overwhelming potential
I wanted a piece
goodbye
Part of me is still
lying on that floor, weeping.
Life gone from your eyes.
