aghh I know. I gave up trying to keep the form of my writing long ago. None of my poems on here appear as they were originally written in my notebook. But yes, I actually agree with you on this point. The single line keeps the flow better.
I guess sometimes the formatting offers something unexpectedly pleasing.
I feel the same way. I’m constantly, as I go throughout my day saying, “Oh! I must poetize this!” I love words; I adore verse.
